Born in Taipei, Taiwan. Michelle is trilingual in English, French and Mandarin with knowledge of Japanese, German and Italian. Michelle is a MBA graduate of the ESCP-EAP and has Executive Management Education of INSEAD.
Michelle has had a diverse career, where she held several managing positions with blue-chip companies from various industries.
She started her carrier with Thomson Multimedia in 1994 as Financial Controller, Sales Representative & then Purchasing Manager. Then, she worked for the Groupe Philips in 1997 as Purchasing & Alliances Manager.
In 2000, she joined Groupe Renault as Senior Global Supplier Account Manager. In 2008, she became Vice President of Global Sourcing & Supplier Quality Development with Alstom Transport. Thereafter, she integrated to Vallourec, as Group Sourcing Vice President.
She worked for Vodafone in 2016, as Director of Supply Chain Management Networks, and entered the VPC Management Committee.
Michelle Wen has joined Groupe PSA in 2017 as Senior Vice President, Purchasing Opel Vauxhall and became Member of Opel Executive Committee. In January 2018, she became Deputy Executive Vice President, Global Purchasing and Supplier Quality for Groupe PSA.
June 1st, 2018, Michelle Wen is appointed Executive Vice President, Global Purchasing and Supplier Quality of Groupe PSA and becomes Member of the Executive Committee.
