Alf Noto, Chief Procurement Officer, Deutsche Bank

Alf is CPO at Deutsche Bank, a role he has held since August 2017. He joined the organisation in October 2016 as managing director, strategic vendor management and is based out of London.

Prior to joining DB, Alf’s procurement credentials were firmly established with Nokia where as VP indirect sourcing and outsourcing he led the creation of the global indirect procurement organisation for $5bn global spend. Following on from his success in this role Alf took up broader responsibilities as VP of customer care and quality management where he led an internal team of 430 and multiple external teams providing online, social media and in-device support for millions of customers (individuals, enterprise and trade) via contact support centres in +20 languages and physical product service & repair operations at over 2000 locations globally. In addition, he also served as chairman of the Nokia UK Board of Pension Trustees.

Alf’s early career was spent in procurement and supply chain leadership roles with world class organisations: Rover, Nissan, Reckitt & Colman and GlaxoSmithKline. Committed to the procurement profession, he also sat on the Supply Management Editorial Board.
