Lynn De Proft

Chief Procurement Officer, Solvay

Lynn is the Chief Procurement Officer for Solvay where she is responsible for the group’s procurement strategy, processes, people and results. Lynn is also the President of Solvay Energy Services, a Solvay Group company specialized in energy and CO2 management. Aligned with Solvay’s ambitious G.R.O.W agenda, she is driving the Procurement transformation through sustainable and purpose-driven value creation and innovation founded on a basis of operational excellence. Embedding sustainability in the supply chain and beyond and enabling One Planet is key to her role at Solvay. 

She is a Steering Committee member of Together for Sustainability (TfS), a joint initiative and global network of 37 chemical companies with the goal of assessing, auditing and improving the sustainability practices within their global supply chains.

Lynn passionately believes that diverse teams, connected interests and technology are powerful levers for change, growth and progress. 

Before joining Solvay in 2019, Lynn served in a number of strategy, sustainability, M&A and procurement roles at AB InBev in Europe and the Americas until becoming Vice President, Global Procurement and Sustainability in their global headquarters. Prior to AB InBev, Lynn held leadership roles in the aerospace industry with Space Applications Services and Airbus. Lynn holds a Master’s degree in Aeronautical Engineering from Delft University of Technology, and an MBA from the Vlerick Business School.
