Martha Buffington is Chief Procurement Officer of Royal DSM, which is a €9 billion global company producing health, nutrition, and sustainable living products to enhance the lives of people  and the sustainability of the planet. She joined Royal DSM in March 2018 as VP Indirect Procurement based in The Netherlands. Prior to joining Royal DSM, she had a 21-year career at The Coca-Cola Company in Atlanta, GA, USA. She was Chief Procurement Officer of a $4 billion division of the company and previously was VP Indirect Procurement and Center of Excellence. Her career has included leadership roles and experience across a broad range of supply chain functions.  

Martha is an active mentor and supporter of women in business. She is currently the co-chairperson of Royal DSM’s Women Inspired Network in The Netherlands, which creates a supportive environment for all genders and encourages the personal and professional growth of women toward greater gender balance at DSM.
