Paula joined Novartis March 1st 2019 as Chief Procurement Officer. Her focus is to transform Procurement at Novartis into a world leading procurement organization powered by data and  digital. Previously, Paula was CPO at Adidas, based in Herzogenaurach (Germany), where she transformed a decentralized and operational procurement organization with low levels of maturity into a high performing, strategic one. Prior to Adidas, Paula was CPO at UCB Biopharma and before that, she held several procurement senior management roles at Goodyear and AB-InBev.

She started her professional career at DHL in supply chain operations, after achieving a Postgraduate Diploma in International Business at South Bank University in London. Paula holds a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration from Wales University, a MBA by Bradford University and has graduated from the General Management Program at Harvard Business School in Boston.
