ROB WOODSTOCK, CHIEF COMMERCIAL OFFICER, HM REVENUE & CUSTOMS (HMRC)

Rob became Chief Commercial Officer for HMRC in November 2017. 

He is a member of Commercial Function Leadership Group and sits on the GCF D&I Steering Group as Race Champion.  He also sits on the Civil Service Pension Board and on HMRC's Strategy and Change Investment and Design Committees.

Prior to joining HMRC, Rob was a Managing Director at Accenture (2006-2017) where he worked across Financial Services, Telco, Media and Public Health sectors. He enjoyed living and working internationally during his consulting career - notably in the United States, Hong Kong, Singapore, South Africa and the Netherlands.  He was the UK Inclusion and Diversity lead for Accenture (2009-2011) and was a founder member of the Ethnicity Networks.

He has been recognised for leadership excellence externally - by the Green Park / The Times (Top 100 BAME Leaders in the UK - 2018, 2019) and by the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (Procurement Powerlist - 2020).

Rob lives in West London with his wife Tracey and three children. Whilst he is an engineer by training Rob is passionate about art and music – he is a keen guitarist and recently a converted MAMIL.
