Roque Carmona is an Electrical and Electronic degree from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts et Industries of Strasbourg and has an Executive MBA from HEC of Paris.
He began his career in GE Energy in the Projects Department in 1994 as Commissioning Engineer and became after 3 years Site Manager for Turnkey Power Plants projects. He lived during 8 years outside his home country in different countries like Argentina, Venezuela, Chile, Malaysia, Jordan, Oman, Dubai, Denmark, Germany and the UK.
He became in 2001 the head of the Construction & Commissioning division in the Projects Department, covering all the Turnkey Power Plants with 50Hz GE Gas Turbines.
In 2004, he was appointed Purchasing Director for the Energy Products Division based out of France, in charge of European Gas Turbines parts and the Power Plants equipment's worldwide for GE Energy.
In 2010, he became the Executive Sourcing Leader for the GE Gas Engines division based out of Austria, supporting the acquisition of Dresser.
Beginning of 2014, Roque Carmona joined Total as the Vice-President of Purchasing for Total Refining & Chemicals branch based out of Belgium. Since 2017, he joined the group Thales as SVP, Group Chief Procurement Officer based out of Paris.
Roque is born in Spain and is married with 2 children.
