Sopan Shah is a global procurement and supply chain leader focused on building high-performing and inclusive teams. He is the SVP, Chief Procurement Officer for IHG® Hotels and Resorts. IHG® is one of the world’s leading hospitality companies whose purpose is to provide True Hospitality for Good. With a family of 18 hotel brands and IHG® One Rewards, one of the world's largest hotel loyalty programmes, IHG® has over 6,000 open hotels in over 100 countries and more than 1,900 in the development pipeline.

Sopan leads the IHG® Global Procurement team, which aims to drive innovation, efficiencies, and growth for IHG® and Owners by Empowering Better Decisions. They deliver breakthrough results across the value chain by harnessing collaboration with those who stay, work, and partner with us. 

Before IHG®, Sopan had a broad, 20-year career in supply management through leadership roles at Nestlé, NBC Universal, General Mills, and Intel. His passion for this field began during his Supply Chain Management degree at the W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University.
